  Great korean food here, highly recommend trying this spot out. Staff are super nice too.

  Insadong has been a long standing part of the Korean cuisine scene in the Lougheed area. Before the influx of Korean restaurants in the area, Insadong definitely held their ground well. However, with so many more options to choose from now, they have definitely lost their edge over the years. I liked Insadong for its family style offerings, which include great deals on Korean BBQ sets and wholesome hotpots. With the price point to factor in, I still do not mind going for larger family style meals. It is just easy to order for a large table at Insadong. However, overall, I think there is room for improvement in the quality of the food and the service.
  
  My biggest issue is how big the space restaurant is relative to small number of people they have staffed during service. This has always been a problem when I dine here. It is a challenge to flag down a server again if you have already ordered. On one hand there are just too few staff to cover all the nooks and crannies of the restaurant, but also the staff always seem to pay more attention to the Korean-speaking patrons.
  
  They really left a sour image in my mind on a particular occasion when I tried to go in for a late dinner as a party of two. They closed at 11pm that night and we walked in just before 10pm, saying we were looking for a quick dinner. While they did seat us, they never poured us any tea or water the entire time we were there, even when asked. We ordered really quicky keeping in mind they were getting ready to close. While the food did come quickly, the seafood soup was really just a lot of fish bones and the seafood pancake was undercooked/lacked any seafood. We were out of there by 10:30pm. I have never had quite a negative experience both in terms of food quality and service at Insadong. Personally, I would have rather they just say they could not serve us anymore if they were looking for an early night. If a restaurant is going to keep its doors open to customers, then I believe it should continue to maintain basic service standards at the very least.

  Amazing customer service, but the meat quality is mediocre.
  
  This place is super busy so expect long waits if you don't make a reservation.

  This is a good Korean bbq place if you want to go for value and variety because they have grilling combos.
  
  We got the "Beef and Chicken" Couple for two combo.
  It came with a salad, an array of Korean appetizer, tofu soup, two rice, 5 different types of meats. The meats were so flavourful and the amount was decent enough to fill two of us up happily.

  We got our table once we entered. It's because it's a weekday evening. it's nice & clean place.
  The Food is very tasty and authentic.
  We had family of four style. It's plenty of food for us to share. Services is not bad.
  the value of the food quality is  super.
